Following Michael Jordan's retirement in 1993, Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 9 as an ode to the progress Jordan Brand had made in capturing the hearts of sneaker lovers worldwide. In 2010, Jordan Brand released a retro colorway of the now classic model. The Air Jordan 9 Retro 2010 features a white leather upper with perforations along the side panels, and black details on the mudguard, heel, and collar. The sneaker also boasts an elasticated lacing system and University Red accents throughout.
